What we would tell you in the studio

  • Roomy open cut. The body is cut wide so the front panels hang straight down without pulling. It skims over base layers and moves freely as you walk, staying loose through the hips.
  • Crew neckline and sleeves. A simple round neck keeps the top neat under heavier outerwear. The long sleeves are cut straight down to the wrist, giving you clean lines from shoulder to cuff.
  • Longline hem. The lower edge falls well past the knee toward the ankle. That extra length gives the lightweight knit steady downward drape without adding bulk or heavy seams.
  • Yarn hand and wash. The knit feels smooth and soft to the touch with natural crosswise give. Wash it on a gentle cycle in cool water without bleach, then lay it flat to dry so the length holds its shape.
