What we would tell you in the studio
- Roomy open cut. The front panels hang straight without fastenings, giving the body plenty of room to move. Ribbing along the placket keeps the edge from rolling inward as you walk.
- Shoulders and sleeves. Dropped shoulders let the wide long sleeves hang loose from the armhole. Deep ribbed cuffs pull the knit back in at the wrist so the sleeves stay pushed up when needed.
- Knitted front pockets. We knit two patch pockets directly onto the lower body panels. They sit flat when empty and hold small daily essentials without pulling the cardigan out of shape.
- Yarn care. Wash this piece by hand in cool water or use a gentle cycle with a mesh bag. Lay it flat on a dry towel to dry so the open knit retains its shape.
