What we would tell you in the studio
- Crew neck and buttons. The round crew neckline fastens straight down the front with tonal buttons. You can wear it fully closed as a sweater top or leave it open over a tank.
- Shoulder and body cut. Dropped shoulders give the short sleeve design a soft line across the upper body. The knit hangs straight down rather than clinging to the midsection.
- Medium weight knit. We chose a smooth medium-weight yarn for this piece. It carries enough substance to hold its boxy shape while remaining soft and flexible against bare skin.
- Cold water care. Hand wash in cold water with a gentle detergent to protect the knit structure and colour contrast. Press out excess water in a towel and dry the garment flat.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
