What we would tell you in the studio
- Crew neck and placket. A round neckline sits close to the collarbone with flat-knit banding along the edge. Matched buttons run the length of the front placket, staying secure whether worn closed or open over a light base.
- Shoulder and body line. Dropped shoulders ease the fit across the upper chest and let the sleeves fall naturally. The body maintains a square, relaxed shape that does not cling at the sides or pull across the back.
- Yarn hand and weight. Knitted with a dense, balanced tension, the yarn provides moderate warmth without excess bulk. It bends easily under heavier outerwear and holds its structure when worn indoors on cooler days.
- Care for knitted yarn. Wash by hand in cold water using a mild detergent to preserve the aqua tone. Press water out gently without wringing, then reshape the piece and lay it flat to dry.
