What we would tell you in the studio
- Medium weight yarn. The knit is smooth across the face with a soft hand that stays comfortable against bare skin. It provides moderate warmth without excess bulk, holding a clean shape through the body.
- Crew neck and buttons. A double-layer ribbed band finishes the rounded crew neckline so it keeps its shape. The front placket fastens with a full row of buttons from the neck down to the straight hem.
- Loose body line. The cut sits well away from the torso with plenty of room through the chest and waist. Dropped shoulder seams create a relaxed line that layers easily over woven tops or fine-gauge tees.
- Cold water wash. Hand wash the knit in cold water with mild detergent to protect the blue dye and stitch texture. Press the water out gently and lay the cardigan flat on a towel to dry.

- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
