What we would tell you in the studio
- Crew neck closure. The round collar sits flat at the base of the neck. Small buttons run down the center placket, allowing you to wear the piece fully fastened as a top or open over a light base layer.
- Relaxed body. The body is cut wide with dropped shoulders, giving the knit a boxy drape that hangs away from the torso. It rests comfortably without clinging, ending right near the waistband and top of the hips.
- Smooth lightweight yarn. We selected a medium-weight yarn that feels soft directly against the skin. It holds its shape across the front placket without adding bulk under heavier jackets or winter coats.
- Care and maintenance. Wash this knit by hand in cold water to preserve the yellow dye and yarn surface. Squeeze out excess water without twisting, then reshape the sweater and dry it flat on a towel.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
- Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
