What we would tell you in the studio
- Crew neck structure. The round crew neckline is finished with neat ribbing that holds its circle without stretching out. It sits close to the base of the neck, whether the front buttons are fastened or left undone.
- Roomy body cut. We shaped the body with extra ease so the fabric hangs straight down rather than pulling tight. Dropped shoulder seams let the sleeves fall naturally without bunching across the upper back.
- Hip length hem. The lower edge rests at the top of the hip. A ribbed bottom band keeps the hem tidy over trousers or skirts without gripping the waist too firmly.
- Cold water care. To protect the soft surface of the white yarn, wash this knit by hand in cool water. Press out excess moisture in a clean towel and lay it flat to dry.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
