What we would tell you in the studio
- High neck construction. The turtleneck is ribbed so it holds its shape against the neck without pressing tight. You can wear it standing straight or folded over once.
- Roomy body cut. We shaped the body wide and straight. The knit hangs away from the torso, giving you space underneath for a thin base layer or a collared shirt.
- Long ribbed sleeves. The sleeves run long down the arm and finish with a close knit rib at the cuffs. This keeps the volume in place at the wrists.
- Washing and drying. Wash this sweater by hand or use a gentle cycle with cold water and mild soap. Lay it flat on a clean towel to dry so the shape stays true.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
