What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crew top and buttons. The top features a round crew neck with front button details and low raglan sleeves. Side slits let the hem settle cleanly over the waistband without bunching up.
  • Wide leg trousers. Knitted with an elastic waistband, the trousers pull on easily and drop straight down into a wide cut. The fabric has enough weight to keep its line while walking.
  • Matched black yarn. Knitting both pieces together ensures the black dye matches across the top and bottom. The knit has a soft surface feel and enough give to recover after long wear.
  • Washing and shape. Hand washing in cold water protects the yarn best. If using a machine, pick a gentle cycle with mild soap and lay both pieces flat on a towel to dry.

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
