What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crew neck with buttons. A round crew collar sits flat at the base of the neck, finished with a partial button placket so you can open the neckline or keep it closed.
  • Dropped raglan sleeve. The long sleeves fall from low raglan seams, leaving plenty of room under the arms so the knit never bunches or pulls across the shoulders.
  • Wide knit trousers. We gave the matching pants a high-rise elastic waistband and a relaxed, wide leg that drops straight from the hip down to the shoe.
  • Washing the set. Hand wash in cold water with gentle soap or run on a wool cycle inside a mesh bag. Dry both pieces flat to preserve the yarn shape.

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
