What we would tell you in the studio

  • Stripes and pocket. Brown and blue bands alternate down the body and along the sleeves. A single patch pocket sits on the left chest, breaking the horizontal pattern without pulling on the light gauge fabric.
  • Roomy body cut. The knit drops straight from the shoulders and sits well away from the waist. It gives you space underneath for a collared shirt or a thin jersey base without binding under the arms.
  • Crew neckline. A ribbed band finishes the round neck so it holds its shape through regular wear and pulling over the head. It rests close to the base of the throat without feeling tight.
  • Hand wash care. Wash this piece by hand in cold water or send it for dry cleaning to keep the stripes crisp. Squeeze out excess moisture in a towel and lay the sweater flat to dry.
