What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crewneck and collar. The round neckline sits close to the base of the throat with a narrow ribbed trim that keeps its shape. It pulls on easily without stretching out of line.
  • Loose straight drape. We cut the body wide so the lightweight knit falls straight down instead of clinging. It layers over a collared shirt or a basic tee without bunching.
  • Chest pocket detail. A square knit patch pocket sits on the left chest, stitched flat against the stripes. It adds a small break to the horizontal band pattern across the front.
  • Cold wash care. Hand wash this knit in cold water or send it to dry clean. Squeeze out excess moisture without wringing, then dry it flat on a towel so the body keeps its shape.

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.

  • The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
