What we would tell you in the studio

  • High folded collar. The roll neck stands tall and turns over to sit close against the throat without pressing. It keeps its shape through the day rather than slumping down into the chest.
  • Dropped shoulder line. We set the armholes low on the torso so the sleeves start past the shoulder point. The long sleeves narrow slightly toward the wrist, balancing the broad cut of the upper body.
  • High low vented hem. The hem drops lower in the back than in the front. Open slits at each side allow the long panels to shift naturally as you walk, preventing the knit from bunching around trousers or leggings.
  • Cold wash care. Wash this piece by hand or on a gentle machine cycle with cold water. Lay it flat on a dry towel to dry so the heavy length does not stretch out on a hanger.

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
