What we would tell you in the studio

  • Exposed seam lines. Raised outward seams run along the shoulders and body panels, giving the smooth surface a bit of structural definition. The finish leaves the inner side flat against your base layer.
  • Crew neck and cuffs. The plain round crewneck is bound with a compact rib that holds its shape. Matching vertical ribbing pulls the long sleeves in at the wrist so the extra fabric gathers above the cuff.
  • Split lower hem. The lower edge falls down toward the hip and upper leg with open side vents. That break keeps the longer profile from bunching or catching when you sit down.
  • Gentle cycle care. Wash by hand or use cold water on a gentle machine cycle with mild detergent. Lay the knit flat or hang it to dry so the heavy, soft yarn keeps its length.

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
