What we would tell you in the studio

  • Exposed seam lines. Raised outside seams trace the construction of the body and shoulders. These ridges break up the plain grey knit face and add visible texture to an otherwise simple crewneck profile.
  • Split tunic hem. The hem drops lower on the body and incorporates deep side splits. This open construction allows the wide hemline to move freely over trousers or skirts without catching or gathering as you sit.
  • Ribbed long sleeves. Full-length sleeves end in neat vertical-grain ribbed cuffs. The ribbing grips lightly at the wrist to keep the sleeves in place when pushed up the forearm, balancing the wide cut through the torso.
  • Cold wash care. Wash this sweater by hand or run it on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild soap. Lay it flat across a drying rack so the weight of wet yarn does not pull the shape out of line.

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
